Sawyer Gaunt is a cinematographer, producer and colorist based out of New York with over ten years of experience working across the country. After studying cinematography at Columbia College in Chicago he found success as a gaffer in the independent film scene in NYC, quickly making his way to shooting at an early age. Commercial work with brands like Levi’s, Starbucks, and Honda has taken him across the country and internationally, but his true passion lies in narrative work. Sawyer has shot over 25 short films across all genres in the last five years. His work has made its way into a variety of festivals and on to streaming platforms like Amazon and NoBudge. Since then Sawyer has shot a handful of projects on 16mm and 35mm, and has been featured multiple times on the Kodak Shoot Film page.  Recently Sawyer purchased a Moviecam Compact MK 2, and hopes to continue shooting 35mm film as much as possible.
